| Wolf's Clothing Records started out in 2005 under the name Brother Rat Recordings. Since then, we've released a handful of free albums by various artists running the gamut from extreme noise to electro/techno. With a diverse and varied array of artists within the collective, Wolf's Clothing has established a small but loyal following through the use of online tools like Last.fm and Myspace. We operate on a strictly DIY basis, with a $0 budget in total. No money is spent on the upkeep of the label or its releases, as everything is done entirely by the individual artists involved. Wolf's Clothing Records firmly believe in the idea that music is art, and that art should be made available free of cost. All we ask in return is that you help spread the word about WCR and the artists associated with the label in hopes that one day everyone here can move on to something much bigger. |
